Columbia Asia Hospitals (a unit of Manipal Hospitals) recently announced that they are extending their services to offer medical specialities in their OPD services at Gurgaon, Ghaziabad and Patiala units. This comes a month after Manipal Hospitals became the second largest healthcare chain in India after 100 per cent acquisition of Columbia Asia Hospitals.
A team of doctors across oncology, vascular surgery, haematology, CTVS, GI surgery and cardiology from HCMCT Manipal Hospitals will be available for OPDs on a regular basis at the Gurgaon, Ghaziabad and Patiala centres of Columbia Asia. These OPDs will add to the existing capabilities of the Columbia Asia centres by catering to specialised needs of patients. These services start from 23rd June’ 21. The hospital also plans to extend its infrastructure in order to provide integrated healthcare services in coming days.
Pramod Alagharu, Regional COO, North & West Cluster Manipal Hospitals, said, “We have been committed to delivering world-class clinical services with a patient-centric approach for over six decades. With this merger, we aim at creating a larger canvas for our doctors which will help them make a deeper impact on the changing healthcare needs of patients who require multi-speciality services.”
