Job Description: 
Should understand and perform all Blood Bank techniques and analysis as applicable in every section of the department.Main Job Tasks:
  1. Performs Blood Bank procedures in timely and efficient manner.
  2. Ensure proper labels, bottles, containers, tubes, sample cups are used.
  3. Performs all Blood Bank related tests like blood grouping, cross matching, antibody screening, etc.
  4. Maintains departmental equipment and carry out the daily routine maintenance required as per the guidelines for all equipment.
  5. Records results and may assist in research and technical activities.
  6. Prepares written documentation and file as required by the profession.
  7. Prints all Blood Bank reports when required.
  8. Prepares and sends all reports for relevant authorities.
  9. Prints / prepares daily reports on work load details
  10. Whenever required coordinates with other Blood Bank for blood and blood components supply
  11. Performs any duties assigned by Blood Bank Supervisor.
