Dr. Sahith Kumar Shetty specializes in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Columbia Asia Hospital in Mysore. After completing his M.D.S. (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) from Master of Dental Surgery, Govt. Dental College, Trivandrum in 1998, he specialized further, completing FFDRCPS and FDSRCS in 2000. He secured a First Class in the B.D.S course of the Bangalore University and secured 11th rank in the All India Postgraduate Entrance examination 1995. He has attended several conferences and workshops. He has conducted a research ‘Cephalometric norms for orthognathic surgery in an Adult Kerala population’, this was a study of 32 subjects  to develop racially specific values for the 'Cephalometrics  for  Orthognathic  Surgery analysis of Burstone’ applicable in an adult Kerala population. The subjects were evaluated with standardised true lateral Cephalograms.
